Ontario Barn Vineyards plans several Friday evening "Sunset Wine Tasting" events in 2012 that will combine wine tasting from 5-7 pm with some exceptional local and regional music warm-ups, including string quartets, jazz ensembles, barn music and other presentations.  No cover charge for these events. Tastings of wines in progress bring praise for upcoming OBV Wines. Three of our 7 "in production" 2011 wines were featured in mid-April at a Lake Ontario Wine Trail special tasting weekend.  Visitors to Ontario Barn Vineyards tasted and raved about the three featured wines. Read more...

Brookwood Country Club in Ontario, New York becomes the first establishment (beyond our big red barn) to feature our wine, starting with Ontario Barn Vineyard's Oval Garden Chardonnay. Their facilities, including restaurant and bar, are open to the public. Look for our wines to start popping up this year in local and regional liquor stores and restaurants.  Please ask for them when you go out.

NYS Department of Transportation has approved the official Lake Ontario Wine Trail signage plan and signs will soon be installed by the Highway Department connecting Casa Larga by way of routes 31, 350 and 104 to JD Wine Cellars, Ontario Barn Vineyards, Young Sommer and Thorpe Vineyards. With the Wine Trail more visible we expect to boost Wayne County's stature as a tourism county.  We will soon be "on the map" with the familiar green signs seen on all the other NY wine trails!  We thank our state and local officials who supported us in this effort.
